Did you know that a child achieving proficiency in reading by third grade is one of the most important predictors of high school graduation and career success? We are working to ensure that all children are proficient in their reading skills by third grade. We also believe that competency in math is essential for school and career success.
TTT (Teacher Table Time) is our daily extra instructional time for children who need extra instruction in reading, math, and language to reach grade-level proficiency.
Children who need to work on a grade-level skill may receive the following support:
Reading and math – Extra instruction by your child’s teacher to achieve reading and math proficiency by the end of the year.
Inclusion – Specialized instruction from an inclusion teacher guided by the goals defined in the Inclusion Plan for children with disabilities or a Strategic Support Plan for children with reading or math needs.
Language – Children in ELL (English Language Learner) or SLL (Spanish Language Learner receive daily instruction.
