Testimonials ANS

Vivian Caldera

ANS has been my home for the last 12 years. Here, I have been able to grow professionally and personally. As a mission driven school, it has empowered me to maximize my potential and inspire those around me.

Jason Kittles

The ANS community is like a big family that has always supported me and helped me grow into the science coach I am today. Over the last 18 years it has been amazing to grow with the school, recognizing the power and influence education can have on a child.

Olivia Gunn

I have worked at ANS for six years, and I truly value our school community and the way it has shaped me to be the educator I am today. As a teacher at ANS, I have been able to be creative in my unit planning and assessments, connect with our students and wider community, and develop my teaching practices through collaborative units and assessments with my colleagues. I have had the opportunity to work with students outside of school in a number of extracurricular activities and clubs, and to plan and enact service learning opportunities that I have never encountered in other places. ANS is a fantastic place for educators who are creative, innovative, and collaborative!

Monika Cieslak

The closeness of the community encouraged me and motivated my learning. I grew professionally thanks to the experiences and friendships inside and outside the classroom.

David Faulkner

ANS is my home away from home. I feel so blessed to have found such an incredible community and an organization in a country so far from my own, and to feel part of something I consider to be so special.

John Spiro

The best thing about my 19 years at ANS has been the amazing and unique people - students, teachers, administrators - I have had the opportunity to work and grow with.
