We seek to continuously improve and enhance the environment our students are exposed to, by engaging the young generation and the American Nicaraguan School community in hands-on activities and projects that will foster environmental consciousness.

She’s the First

Mission

She’s the First fights for a world where every girl chooses her own future. We team up with local organizations to make sure girls are educated, respected, and heard. It isn’t enough to teach girls to speak up, if the world isn’t ready to listen. That’s why we train educators and mentors to put girls’ voices and views at the center of their work.

Global Cinema

Mission

To create a team of ANS students passionate about film that work together in the production of multiple short films throughout the year and engage in meaningful conversations about films and filmmaking.

ANS APROQUEN

Mission

ANS APROQUEN aims to raise funds, lead drives, and make visits to the APROQUEN clinic for the benefit of young burn victims in Nicaragua.

PINK CLUB

Mission

Pink Club focuses on providing funds to the non-profit organization Fundación Ortiz Gurdian. In addition, it drives with the mission to raise awareness and spread knowledge on breast cancer, reminding people the danger, the symptoms, and the methods of checking.

ANS Poets Society Club

Mission

Promote the reading and writing of poetry in the ANS community and create a space for poets to express themselves.

Love 4 Paws

Mission

Help and save stray animals from hunger, abuse, and improper health, and assist in finding them good homes.

Elder Care

Mission

Improve the quality of life for nursing home residents by providing donations, enhancing mental and physical health, and improving their facilities.

Teach financial decision-making and investment management skills, providing resources to expand financial literacy.

Explore science through simple experiments and models, fostering interest in science and developing leadership skills among students.

Crafting for a Cause

Educate young students on the benefits of creative reuse of materials through dynamic presentations, workshops, and arts and crafts projects.

Mission

Our mission is to transform the lives of premature babies with disabilities by providing hope and support to their families, offering access to therapies and resources that enable a better future.

ANS Conanca

Mission

The ANS CONANCA Club supports children and families in Nicaragua affected by cancer. We raise funds, collect donations, and provide emotional support. Our mission promotes social responsibility, helping us build empathy and leadership while connecting our school with the local community.
